21st August saw almost 500 children, aged 5-9, playing their little hearts out at this year's GDSFA Gala Day, hosted by Rouse Hill Rams.

We last held the gala day in 2012 and WOW! Did we smash it again!

A word from the Miniroos Director of GDSFA:

What an awesome day it was for one and all who participated in the GDSFA Miniroo Football Gala Day for the u6, u7, u8 and u9 teams.
I would like to thank the coaches and managers for a sterling job they have done throughout the 2016 season in helping to develop their teams in this wonderful game of football.
Thank you to the parents for allowing your child to play within the GDSFA and spending quality time with your child while learning to play this great game plus taking them to their weekend games. Let's be honest, the smiles on their faces and stories they tell you about the games is all worth it.
Thank you to FNSW & WSWanderers for running their community development program and also Olivia Price from the Matildas for presenting the medals
Thank you to Ezzy Bros for the donation of goodies for the showbags.
A big shout out to the host club Rouse Hill Rams for ensuring this Gala Day ran so smoothly, and thank you to your volunteers, instructing team leader and of course your Committee.
On behalf of the GDSFA BOD thank you for supporting the GDSFA for the season 2016 and i know that 2017 will be even bigger.
